the first release of 2006 is dedicated to an audiovisual duo: Saul Saguatti and Wang Inc. with theirs two projects:

 

Life from Pluto

Life from Pluto is an abstract work joining science, science fantasy, drawing, and photography, reproducing disentanglement from electromagneticwaves in a vacuum. Composition of lines and geometric forms moving in a space far from all known forms. It tells of a moment of conjunction between two planets, with unknown forms of technology that can touch without connecting, unaware of the access keys for decoding what is not understood or even conceivable.

Woods Roads

The video of Wang inc is a collaboration between video artist Saul Saguatti (www.basmati.it) and Wang inc. (www.wanginc.it). Sauls images are the opposit of Wang inc.s vision of the album "woods roads" but they described very good the the feelings of it. The story is a escape from the city: now citys are an unlivable place where human beeings have no place for there life: corporations, pollution and the frenetic life of the city dominate the human behaviours. The story of the video of "backwoods roads are like snakes" is a reasearch for peace and calmness that woods can give. Wang inc. is the main actor of the video and citys from all europe give him the perfect dimension were to exprime his phisic disapointment. He goes throug all the citys landscapes searching the peacefull dimension that only the woods can give him. As he finally finds the woods he will be abducted from them and become part of the arboric calmness. The video has been produced with a small digital camera shooting frame by frame all the sequences and then with a graphic software Saul added some lines and colors. It is an animation work with digital photografy: Saul as he was shooting was allready thinking how he could animate the pictures he made. Wang inc. Live set is a mixture between the "woods roads" album and the remixes. It is designed to be a duo concert with a correlated interaction between the music and the vjsuals. To the intense music of "woods roads" Sauls gives an additional perception using the clear poetry of his photografy and the rithmic experience of this animated vjing. The "woods roads" music has been composed after Wang inc. has visited the beauty of americas north west woods. The album wants to be a sort of search trip trough the majesty of green nature. During the composition of this album i have had many images to refer at: it was the trip seens of Dead Man, the beginning of Shining and the woods allucinations of the tv masterpiece Twin Peacks- says Wang inc. about his work. The collaboraion with Sauls starts after Wang inc. has seen some of his animated picture vacations. The sense of frenetic and disturbed way of rappresenting human landscapes gave Wang inc. the idea to put up the live show. Sauls images are the opposit of Wang inc.s vision of the album but they described very good the the feelings of it. The vjsuals of woods roads are a reasearch for peace and calmness that woods give.
